Italian-trained physicians. European clinical standards. Comprehensive specialist care across 32 departments — under one roof in Tirana.
Spitali Italian Salus was founded by Dr. Olti Peçini in formal partnership with Casa di Cura Salus, a renowned Italian hospital in Trieste. From day one, our standards were imported from Italy — protocols, equipment, and the visiting physicians who anchor our most complex departments.
For 22 years, we have bridged two cultures: Italian medical excellence and Albanian human warmth. It is not a marketing slogan. It is the structural foundation of how we operate.
Albanian. Italian. English. Every consultation, every diagnosis, every recovery conversation — in the language you understand best. We do not use interpreters or apps. Our physicians and staff speak fluently across all three.
For Albanian families, this means clarity. For Italian patients and the diaspora, it means home. For international visitors, it means the confidence to choose Tirana for treatment.
Our LanguagesFrom cardiology to oncology, neurosurgery to aesthetics, ophthalmology to physiotherapy — Salus operates the most comprehensive private specialty network in Albania. Patients with complex cases are no longer routed across cities or borders.
Our 99 specialists work as a single multidisciplinary team. Cases are reviewed collaboratively. Treatment plans are coordinated. There is no "elsewhere" to send you.

For twenty-two years, we have practiced Italian medicine in Albanian hands. Our promise to every patient is the same in every language: excellence, in residence.— Dr. Olti Peçini · Founder, Spitali Italian Salus
Each year, leading specialists from Trieste, Pisa, Bologna, Padua, Cagliari, and beyond travel to Tirana to consult, operate, and teach. They join our resident Italian-trained Albanian doctors as a single multidisciplinary team.
Patients access European clinical excellence without leaving Albania. For complex cases, second opinions are available from the very Italian institutions our Professors lead.
"My family has been coming to Salus for twelve years. The doctors speak Italian, the care is European standard, and we are treated like people, not numbers. When my mother needed thoracic surgery, Prof. Magnanelli operated here in Tirana — same standard of care, no travel, no language barrier. This is how healthcare should feel."
"I came back from Germany for a Salus check-up. The €62 General package found something my regular doctor missed for three years."
"Prof. Monti diagnosed my epilepsy in one consultation after years of misdiagnosis. He treats every patient as if it were the only one."

Why this version differs from V1 at every section. Backed by IEO Milan, Lanserhof, and Swiss private clinic design research.
V1 uses left-aligned hero on dark navy with image overlay. V2 uses centered text on cream/white with image strip below — IEO Milan / Swiss luxury approach. Restraint as authority.
V1 uses Playfair Display (broader serif). V2 uses Cormorant Garamond Italic exclusively for headlines — classical Italian editorial. Different voice entirely.
V1 uses 5 boxed stat cards with vertical dividers. V2 uses a single horizontal connected bar without boxes — flowing inline composition.
V1 has one 2-col Italian Difference section with 3 bullet points. V2 has 3 full alternating image-text rows (left/right/left) — magazine editorial flow.
V1 shows 9 featured specialty cards in a 3-col grid. V2 shows ALL 32 specialties grouped by clinical system in a 4-column mega-list — comprehensive over curated.
V1 uses 4 doctor cards in a grid. V2 uses 4 full-width editorial rows (portrait left, narrative right) with stats — magazine profile format. More narrative depth.
V1 uses 4 check-up cards with featured highlight. V2 uses a clean 6-row pricing table (name + duration + includes + price) — restaurant menu approach.
V1 uses 6 separate sub-service cards with descriptions. V2 uses one large unified card with 6 internal columns — visually consolidates the network as one ecosystem.
V2 adds a dedicated quote section between content blocks — large Cormorant italic founder quote on cream. V1 has no equivalent.
V1 uses 3 equal testimonial columns. V2 uses 1 featured big quote + 2 smaller supporting quotes — hierarchy creates emphasis.
V1 shows 3 location cards stacked. V2 uses one visual map with 3 pins + a list below — geographic context, not boxed information.
V1 uses a full-width navy CTA band with multiple buttons. V2 uses a centered cream section with a vertical stacked form — quiet confidence over loud activation.
